EARLY LIGHT CAVALRT (412KB)
(October 1 1999) The unit is a javelin armed light cavalryman (one of the earliest forms of cavalry). He is animated with shadows, attack and death scenes. The horse is by Katy Sodeau with a spearman borrowed from Tom Davies.
SPEARMAN (306KB)
(October 1 1999) Unarmoured Spearmen formed the bulk of most of the ancient and medieval foot soldiers. This Spearman is based on a Saxon Fyrdman from the 11th century AD. By Tom Davies.

(August 18 1999) Tom Davies(morgoth) says: "This slinger is based on a Balearic slinger from the Punic wars but could be used for any ancient period slinger. He is intended as a predecessor for the bowman (but that depends on the scenario you want)". The necessary spr, avi and tga files are inside, you only have to modify the text files accordingly. SWORDMAN UNIT V2 (389KB)
(August 18 1999) Tom Davies(morgoth) says: "The Bronze age introduced the first metal cutting weapons of which the sword was one of the first general purpose weapons. This unit represents a basic unarmoured swordsman. He is intended as a first progression above the 'primitive' warrior". UNIT GRAPHICS 1.1 (566KB)
(July 20 1999) Harlan Thompson not only wrote a guide on how to make new unit graphics, he made some himself. Here is graphics that mod creator can use to add new units in their creations: Crossbowmen, Chariot, Elephant, Catapult, Horse Archer, Howitzer and Heavy Tank. The text file to make the work are not included as these file is intended for creators not players. See the readme and dont forget to give credit to Harln if you use his work!
CATAPULT (25KB)
(July 17 1999) A new sprite by Jérôme Lux. He says: "This is a catapult I've made for the CD mod, it still have no animations, but it is a real 3D sprite (the first I've made but not the last :))." We certainly hope so!
THREE MUSKETEERS (66 KB)
(July 10 1999) John Wiley describes: "Contains the five basic unit tifs (and the shadow tifs for each) needed to creat a sprite for the Musketeer in red, blue, and green. Meant to be used as a basic soldier tif that can be changed to create any other soldier sprite you want." The zip file contains three other zip files for each color. Unzip in different directories.
AA CRUISER (19k)
(June 13 1999) An unanimated sprite from Jérôme LUX. It was made from an original 3D model of an USS cruiser the author found on the net, and others are free to use or modify it freely without prior written permission.
SPY SATELLITE (583k)
(June 13 1999) A double sprite, so to speak! From Lev Koszegi comes his very own Spy Satellite and Helicopter units for CTP. With attack animations and a widened body for better visibility on the map, among other things, consider it an "upgrade" for the default one
CRUISE MISSILE (8k)
(June 13 1999) Also from Jérôme LUX comes another unit for CTP, the cruise missle. It is the one taken from CivII and modified to "look" like a sprite; again, this can be distributed and used freely by others. As with the other created by Jérôme, this missle sports all new facings.
